What I Wore: Braving the White

Hey guys! So yesterday I had two occasions; one being a family lunch at my aunt's house and the other being the KSU Student Fest later on in the evening. I assumed that I would not have time to completely change my outfit from one commitment to the other, which is the reason why I wore such a basic yet, very versatile outfit.

The pictures above show the full outfit for the evening activity. I wore the same outfit for lunch; the difference being in the Boohoo dark grey blazer and the gorgeous Mvintage necklace. Instead of the two, I paired the outfit with my River Island light denim jacket and another lovely Mvintage necklace (take a look). Yes, Mvintage necklaces have become my addiction. It is seriously my go-to store (and website) whenever I need to spice up an outfit or simply splurge on a new jewellery piece to add to my never-ending collection.

I have finally slipped on the white-inspired outfit wagon. I always thought of myself as the kind who will never wear white shoes but these New Look sandals (found in store or here) are perfect to wear on practically anything; from a denim skirt to a pair of jeans. They are very comfortable and the ideal transition if you don't feel like wearing high heels. I also bought a set of midi-rings from New Look (take a closer look), which I am loving!

Until next time!

Event Post: Sweet Treats Party by Jane Norman and Oasis

Good morning fellow fashionistas!

I woke up bright and early today since I have a lot of thesis work to catch up on. Today will be quite a boring day compared to what I did yesterday! I was invited by the lovely Aida Cassola to an event held at Jane Norman Valletta.

The store was open to customers with a 20% off their new collection and I wanted to buy EVERYTHING! I'm serious. GO CHECK IT OUT! There is something for everyone; starting from neons and ending with pastel beauties. If you're looking for a formal outfit or a little pop of colour to brighten your day, this is the place to go.

Besides the 20% off fun, there was also a table full of lovely sweet treats to nibble on before and/or after you go in the store. One could also seek advice from Caroline Paris, who was roaming around the store for anyone who needed her brilliant helping hand. Also, upstairs in the Oasis section, there was a gorgeous stand from the Pupa makeup, featuring it's Spring Collection. I have my eye on a lovely palette and some alluring colours from their Lasting Colour Gel nail polishes. Accompanying the stand were Dorianne Mamo and Marija Debattista, showing the new collection and giving great make-up advice when needed.

Yesterday was payday for me and I decided to splurge on two gorgeous tops. I've been so good this month; (almost) keeping my shopping ban till the very end so I think I deserved a treat :) I was also given a little goody bag at the cash point. YAY!

Enjoy some pictures of the event guys and go check out Jane Norman & Oasis' new collection. I assure you, you will not regret it and you definitely will not leave empty handed!

The crop top is one of my chosen pieces!

My second purchase was that lovely neon top :) Looking forward to braving the neons!

I have been looking everyone for something like this. It might be my next purchase :)

Inspiration: Gossip Girl

Whenever I'm in need of a little inspiration to my outfits or simply want to add that extra pop of colour to what would seem like a dull choice, I always turn to Gossip Girl. If you have never heard of this six season series (WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING?!), drop whatever you're doing and go watch it! RIGHT NOW! Wait, after you finish reading this post..

Nothing should be more important in your life! Before I start drooling on about Chuck Bass and his adorable British accent, this post is obviously fashion-related. Fashion-wise, that series is a masterpiece. In my books, I don't think a series has ever come close to it. Pretty Little Liars is my second favourite (fashion-wise) but nothing comes close to Serena's vibrant summery looks and Blair's gorgeous coats!

Here's some Gossip Girl inspired spring outfits! I MISS GOSSIP GIRL SO MUCH!

You know you love me :)

What I Wore: Still Not Over Quilted Items

Today was one of those days where I wanted to do anything but sit at my desk and study. My boyfriend and I decided to ditch the books and go for a little sight seeing drive. The weather was perfect for it and I have the pictures to prove it.
Also, I have been obsessed with this quilted Missguided bomber jacket! However, I am quite gutted that my coat-related outfits are slowly fading into the background.

Make way for Spring :)
